Lack of the principle of fairness in the redistribution of wealth
There are voices saying that the second special fixed benefit issued by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications on April 27, 2020 should be paid again. The recipients of the previous benefit were limited to those recorded in the Basic Resident Resister, and 100,00 yen was paid uniformly per person.
However, it is clear that the degree of financial assistance received by a family living alone with a monthly rent of 50,000 and a family living in a rented house of 100,000 yen with four people is different, and there is missing a principle of fairness in the redistribution of wealth.
Isn't the policy the argument to correct the inequality of wealth redistribution?
I don't support utilitarianism, "the greatest number of happiness leads to the well-being of society".
